These terms govern your use of Visit Pal, published by Camp Cross Labs. By using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity under your account.
Medical disclaimer
Visit Pal is not a medical device. It provides general educational information only. It is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on Visit Pal in any emergency situation.
Output produced by Visit Pal may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Always confirm important information with a qualified professional before acting on it.
Subscriptions
Visit Pal offers an optional Visit Pal Premium auto-renewable subscription that unlocks features such as unlimited plain-English explanations, saved visit notes, and audio export. Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual term.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase through Apple In-App Purchase. Pricing is shown on the App Store and on the paywall inside the app before you buy.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered (currently up to 7 days for new subscribers on eligible plans), any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends.
- Managing & cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings (iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period; you keep access until the end of that period.
- Refunds. Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under their refund policy.
Acceptable use
Don't paste another person's medical records into Visit Pal without their permission. Don't use Visit Pal to attempt clinical decisions for someone else.
Disclaimer of warranties
Visit Pal is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Camp Cross Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Visit Pal.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or at this URL.
